A Sense Of Scale

There have been many of pictures of Kiener Plaza in the nearly nine year run of this blog. It won't be around that much longer, at least in its present form. The plans for restoration of the Arch grounds extend into downtown. The plaza will be ripped up and replaced with something different. We'll see if it is an improvement.

One of the fixtures is the statue of The Runner, plowing through a fountain in the warmer months. In the winter, agile visitors can climb up the base for family snaps. My knees wouldn't make it up that high.
