“The superb dancing of the Balinese is based on Hindu mythology and is both exotic and powerful in its presentation,” writes Gordon Grimwade, who photographed these festival dancers in Ubud on the Indonesian island of Bali. “I converted this image to black and white simply because it better portrays the performance and mood.”
