Sunday bread, home-made

S is for the smell of the Sunday loaves.
The dark, heavy, healthy bread is so delicious.
The nuns bake home-made bread only for Sundays and holidays.

(I'm volunteering right now at a contemplative monastic community of sisters from various Reformed churches.  The Community of Grandchamp is in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.)
