Forest Park is largest urban park in the U.S., bigger that Central Park in New York and Golden Gate in San Francisco. One a warm summer day it can be impossibly crowded. On a bleak winter Monday a photographer can have it to himself. It's nice that the parks department leaves the evergreen needles where they fell to create a rich carpet.
