Canadian Car in Spanish Springs
I'm assuming it's a Canadian's car from the front plate. Note that it is attached to a large trailer. It is backed into a receiving dock at the relatively new Center for the Performing Arts in the Spanish Springs downtown. But what's a Canadian car with trailer doing in this neck of the woods. The mystery continues!
Passing through
I always find it exciting to see Tower Bridge open up to let tall ship pass through. Is that silly? Too bad. It is still something I will stop and watch.
Later in the year Tower Bridge is going to be closed for three months for maintenance, that should create traffic chaos, however there is talk of a ferry to assist with transporting people back and forth. A wee bit of how the river was traversed in the past.

Where The Cattle Get Their Cash
The land is more sparsely populated as you go west from Marysville. The average rainfall is less and less, the towns farther apart, the services more infrequent. Big sky, long views. But all those cattle need a place to get a quick fifty bucks sometimes.
Qora River at Kob Inn
The Wild Coast is famous for it's beautiful and rugged coastline and one of my favorite aspects of it is all the rivers that flow through the area and into the sea. I got to discover another one for myself when I stayed at Kob Inn recently. The Qora River Mouth is located only two or three hundred meters south of the hotel. To cross the river you have to make use of a local in his boat and unfortunately I got there a little late and he was gone already. So I had to be content with this view and not being able to get to the big beach and sand banks on the other side to explore.
